Thank you, Volunteers!

On Wednesday, May 31, we welcomed nearly 100 Chapin volunteers* to thank them for their invaluable efforts throughout the 2022-2023 school year. Community members from across all areas of the school—from the Parents’ Association, Board of Trustees, and Alumnae Association to volunteers for our Admissions and Advancement Departments—gathered in the Assembly Room for a festive evening of celebration and gratitude.

Attendees heard remarks from Head of School Suzanne Fogarty, Co-Chair of Annual Giving Melinda Cheng, President of the Alumnae Association Wallis Post ’99 and Chair of the Parents’ Association Liv DeRose. They were also treated to a remarkable performance by Evelyn Joung ’26, who played Chopin’s Nocturne in E-flat Major on the cello.

From organizing events, helping with Annual Giving outreach, serving as Class Representatives, to giving tours to perspective families and more, we cannot thank you enough for all that you do to support and uplift our beloved school.

*This represents just a small portion of the hundreds of volunteers who do so much for Chapin. We are eternally grateful for each and every one!
