Joy, snacks, laughter and generations of Chapin women filled the Assembly Room during the annual Alumnae Association Intergenerational Tea.
On December 5, over 80 guests including alumnae returned to 100 East End Avenue to join their current Chapin relatives for a delightful afternoon gathering. Attendees were treated to tea, Chapin’s famous brownies, arts and crafts and a slideshow of classes through the years, dating back to the 1950s. Old uniforms from years’ prior were also on display for all to admire.
After a warm welcome from Dr. Hayot, guests mingled by catching up with fellow alumnae and enjoying time with their daughters, granddaughters or nieces. It was a lovely afternoon for all in attendance.
