"How To Raise Good Kids in Tough Times"
Monday, October 18th
6:30 p.m. via Zoom
Julie's an engaging, witty and candid storyteller who will share her own tales of parenting and mentoring kids in high achieving schools and communities, and how she's moving herself and others forward after our long months of pandemic and social turmoil.
Julie's new book Your Turn, How to Be an Adult, is an excellent guide for young adults of any age, with honest, thoughtful, and humorous advice about growing up and moving on. She'll also share insight from her other books, including Real American, about her experiences as a black and biracial person in white spaces, and from How to Raise an Adult, her bestselling anti-helicopter parenting manifesto.
Julie frames her stories through a wide lens of inclusion about humans of all races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and backgrounds.
Registration for this event is required. Once registered, attendees will receive a confirmation email from the Nightingale School containing info about joining the webinar. This evening is sponsored by NYC Interschool.
