Chapin's 15th annual Gilder Lehrman Lecture will take place on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. We will welcome professor Sophie White, who will speak on her book, Voices of the Enslaved: Love, Labor, and Longing in French Louisiana, winner of the 2020 Frederick Douglass Book Prize. This virtual lecture is open to all members of the Chapin community including students, parents, professional community and alums.
