David Arnstein earned his bachelor of science and engineering degree in Chemical Engineering at Princeton University and his master's degree in Education at Antioch New England. Prior to coming to Chapin in 2013, David taught physics and chemistry, and also served as Dean of Students at the Putney School in Vermont. More recently, he completed a seven year stint as Director of Technology at the Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C. David enjoys reading and thinking about science and technology. He lives in New York City with his wife, Allegra, and tries to visit his two adult children as much as possible.
