Biography

Marianne Brand earned her bachelor of fine arts degree at Cooper Union and went on to complete her master of fine arts degree in sculpture and painting at Columbia University. She has done continuing coursework in the fine arts, including fresco painting and ceramics. Ms. Brand continues to work in her studio and regularly shows her work. She teaches art in the Middle and Upper Schools and joined Chapin in 1993.
