Middle School Faculty Bio Details
Jenet Dibble received her master’s in teaching (M.A.T.) with distinction from Manhattanville College in 2003. Prior to joining The Chapin School, she was first an elementary school teacher in the South Bronx and then a 3rd and 4th-grade language arts and social studies curriculum director at The Mead School in Stamford, CT. During her twelve-year tenure at The Mead School, Ms. Dibble also taught 7th grade language arts and served as an Associate Director of Diversity. She led a committee that initiated a school-wide social justice curriculum. Besides her deep commitment to nurturing a true love of learning in her students, Ms. Dibble enjoys reading, writing and listening to poetry; traveling; drawing; and hiking. She considers herself to be a “foodie,” and will eat most things at least once. Ms. Dibble was born and raised in Malaysia and speaks five languages—English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu (Malay) and Indonesian.
