Lower School

Middle School

The Middle School lists consist of books chosen by the librarians, often from suggestions by students.

Students are requested to read a minimum of 3 books over the summer, including at least 2 books from the lists below (see Ms. Goldberg's letter on page 1 of the list for more details).

Printing instructions: These PDFs have been formatted as a booklet, and are ideally printed on both sides of the paper, flipped on the short edge. Students at Chapin will be receiving hard copies during their final weeks of classes. If you are a new student, you will have a copy mailed to you.
