K-7 Last Day of School!

Friday, June 10, marked the end of another incredible, joy-filled year for our students in Kindergarten through Class 7.

During the Middle School Assembly, students were treated to a lovely tune performed by the MS Chorus and heard remarks from MS Head Mary Rafferty. Students across grades were recognized for their achievements in World Languages, Math and Debate, and the morning concluded with a slideshow honoring Class 7 and acknowledging their send-off into Upper School.

Later that afternoon, students in Kindergarten through Class 3 gathered in the Assembly Room for their own final Assembly. After each grade performed a special song, Class 3 received copies of the book “Say Something” by Peter H. Reynolds, signed by all of their LS teachers. They, too, enjoyed a special slideshow in their honor. To round out the Assembly, their teachers participated in a flash mob – dancing to “Surfin’ USA" by the Beach Boys. Joy and excitement abounded as the students joined in.

Congratulations to all of our students, especially our Classes of 2031 and 2027, who are setting out on new adventures in new divisions! We’ll see you next year!
