Holiday Concerts 2019

Holiday Concerts 2019

During the final days before Winter Recess, the Chapin community celebrated the season across divisions with lively holiday concerts, filled with music and dance from various cultural traditions.

Parents and staff were treated to an array of performances including lovely renditions of winter themed poems from each Class in Lower School, an enthralling Chinese ribbon dance from a group of Middle School students and a serene candlelit ballad sung by Upper School students.

Those in attendance also enjoyed hearing “One Night When Stars Were Shining,” which has been sung at Chapin for nearly 100 years, the traditional handbell ensemble; a touching Middle School arrangement of “I Have A Voice,” which prompted several teary eyes throughout the room; and a hearty chorus of “Jingle Bells.”

Each performance left its attendees with good spirits and holiday cheer!
