Last week, the K-12 community celebrated sports, fitness and wellness at Chapin during the annual Have a Ball! Week. From home and away sports games (complete with exciting half-time fan contests) and basketball clinics to daily pizza and poster-making parties, the entire school felt Green and Gold pride. Raffle tickets, handmade Kenyan goods and Have a Ball! t-shirts were also sold with proceeds going to SHOFCO (Shining Hope for Communities) in support of our sister schools in Nairobi, Kenya, The Kibera and Mothari Schools.
A big thank you to all of the students, professional community members, coaches, student athletes, parent volunteers and athletic association members that helped us celebrate this week and made our fundraiser a great success!
