Commencement 2024

Commencement 2024

On the gorgeous morning of June 12, 2024, 61 Chapin seniors proudly walked across the stage at 583 Park Avenue and became official graduates of The Chapin School. Preceding the ceremony, the Class of 2024, Upper School peers and professional community members gathered for the traditional Commencement Assembly at Chapin. As part of the intimate affair, seniors in Choral Club sang a touching rendition of “Slipping Through My Fingers” by ABBA.

Highlights of the joyful Commencement ceremony with family and friends included traditional songs sung by the US students and Choral Club; a reading of the poem "A Call To Celebrate” by Head of Upper School Allison Bishop; remarks from Board Chair LeeAnn Black; a moving Commencement Address by Head of US Arts Integration and Class 12 Dean Samantha Sherman ’05, and, of course, the presentation of the diplomas by Head of School Suzanne Fogarty.

Congratulations to our “2UPERST4R” Class of 2024 on this momentous accomplishment! We are so proud of all that you have achieved and cannot wait to see you continue to pave the way for future generations to come. We look forward to welcoming you back to Chapin soon.
