On June 14, the 37 young women of the Class of 2013 graduated from Chapin. Celebrated by their families, their teachers and members of the Chapin community, the graduates reveled in all they had accomplished during their years at 100 East End Avenue.
Mariska Hargitay, an actress known for her role on Law & Order SVU, as well as for her founding of the Joyful Heart Foundation, which supports victims of sexual assault, addressed the graduating seniors. With a mixture of personal anecdotes and humor, Ms. Hargitay urged the graduates to trust their own instincts, and to listen to their inner voices, as they moved through their lives.
Chapin is so proud of these 37 young women, and is sure to be proud of all they do in their bright futures. Congratulations to the Class of 2013!
