Commencement 2011

June 8, 2011

Commencement 2011 On a stage adorned with peonies, 42 members of the Chapin Class of 2011 graduated on June 8, 2011. During the ceremony, they sang the traditional songs Jerusalem and Gaudeamus Igitur.

Diane von Furstenberg, a fashion designer and the 2011 Commencement speaker, urged the students to visualize the women they want to become, and to go boldly after their dreams.
