This fall, Chapin’s Alumnae Association held a series of three Regional Virtual Celebrations for alums from the DC area, Boston area, and the United Kingdom and Ireland. Over 60 guests from the Classes of 1952 to 2019 joined together from their homes and college campuses to meet and chat with Chapin’s seventh Head of School Suzanne Fogarty. Ms. Fogarty spoke about the School’s evolving virtual learning program, its nearly completed construction project, and the joy that has accompanied welcoming students back to 100 East End Avenue for in-person learning.
During and after Ms. Fogarty’s presentation at each event, ties were facilitated by our regional hosts Dana Louttit ’78 (DC area), Louise Hartmann McGinnes ’60 (Boston area), and Jill Martin Wrenn ’91 (the United Kingdom and Ireland). The groups shared connections and reminisced over their time as students and affirmed the importance that their Chapin education had in shaping their lives
