Journey to Snug Harbor
On Thursday, Chapin alumnae and parents traveled to Snug Harbor Cultural Center, one of the most architecturally and historically significant sites in the country. They toured historical buildings, art galleries and the Botanical Garden. For the month of October, the garden's featured flowers included Chrysanthemums, Dahlias and Common Witchhazel. The group also visited the Chinese Scholar’s Garden, a series of eight pavilions and covered walkways, the art of which is related closely to Chinese landscape painting.
