Intergenerational Tea 2017

October 27, 2017

Over 110 alumnae and current students gathered in the Assembly Room this week for Chapin's annual Alumnae Association Intergenerational Tea. This beloved Chapin tradition unites alumnae grandmothers, mothers and aunts with their current Chapin granddaughters, daughters and nieces.

The families in attendance enjoyed tea, cider and Chapin's famous brownies and were welcomed by Dr. Hayot and Eleanor Martin Hoagland '69 who shared thoughts on the School's traditions of community and sisterhood. Uniforms from Chapin's past were on display along with a slideshow of photos pulled from the Archives, and current students created fall crafts to take home.
