Intergenerational Tea

November 2, 2011

Over 100 current Chapin students and their Chapin relatives joined in the Assembly room for the annual Intergenerational Tea on October 27, 2011. Alumnae mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and great-aunts all had the opportunity to share Chapin memories with their current Chapin student relatives.

Our dedicated Archives volunteers created an exhibit showcasing items such as old photographs, writings from the Wheel and past yearbooks. Alumnae relived their Chapin memories as they showed current students some of their past student work and even viewed some of their historical uniforms. Conversation of present and past Chapin days created a memorable time for all!
