This fall, nearly 75 alumnae returned to 100 East End Avenue to join Head of School Patricia Hayot for the annual Decades Lunches. Women from the Classes of 1944 to 1960, Classes of 1961 to 1989 and Classes of 1990 to 2014 gathered in the Berendsen Room on September 29, October 6 and November 3, respectively.
The alumnae enjoyed connecting with one another and hearing about the latest Chapin news from Dr. Hayot. Jonathan Wilcove, Head of the English Department, followed with a presentation on the School’s current English curricula, during which he highlighted the exciting things occurring in the classrooms and in the FOCUS courses. Hearing that many of the classics they enjoyed were still studied, many alumnae left with plans to reread their favorites and to explore new titles.
