Christine Xu ’22

Christine Xu, Class of 2022, is a current sophomore at MIT who is majoring in mechanical engineering with a concentration in product development and minor in design. In addition to being a part of MIT's Solar Electric Vehicle team, where students design and build a solar-powered race car from scratch, she is also continuing her Chapin sport as a member of MIT's Varsity Fencing team, having won first place among individuals at the NEIFC Big One Invitational in the 2022-2023 season! Christine is part of MIT’s Capital Partners Club, which works with venture capital firms, and the Undergraduate Association Community Service Committee. She is also the founder of Gens Connect, a worldwide volunteer program that she began at Chapin that works to prevent senior isolation through weekly calls, letters of support, monthly events, and more. Great work!
