Campbell, who is currently studying Economics at the University of Chicago, has developed a new app called Credible that is now available in the Apple App store. Campbell noted, “Chapin empowered me and my classmates to speak confidently and concisely, but when I left Chapin’s walls, I noticed many of my peers’ speech was plagued with filler words.” Thus, Credible was designed to work like a “personal speech coach” to help remove unwanted filler words (like, um, you know, or nervous laughter), enabling a user to speak more confidently and effectively. Users can also program their own filler word that they’d like to stop saying. The app currently has over 15,000 downloads! Great work, Campbell!
