Ashfa Alam ’21

December 14, 2023

Congratulations to Ashfah Alam ’21, a current junior at Columbia University, who was selected as a 2023 Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program Scholar. Through this highly selective program, Ashfah learned core financial concepts critical including financial analysis, valuation, ESG, and more. Her other experiences include working as an Investments Intern at Casey Family Programs, Immigration Intern for the Office of US Senator Charles E. Schumer, Programs Team Intern at Concordia Summit, and leading Columbia's Bengali Student Association as its President. Ashfah hopes her multidimensional interests and experiences will help her pursue sustainability and social-impact related opportunities in the private sector.
