Over 300 alumnae returned to Chapin on April 18 and 19 for Alumnae Reunion.
In addition to seeing classmates and catching up at the annual cocktail party, guests had chances to listen to seniors speak about their individual studies, hear a special choral performance by Class 4 students or take a student-led tour of the school building.
On Friday alumnae also attended the Annual Meeting, during which they listened to remarks by Head of School, Dr. Patricia T. Hayot; Chair of the Board of Trustees, Linden Havemeyer Wise ’70; 50th Reunion Class Speaker, Cynthia C. Wainwright ’63; and President of Self-Government, Class 12 student Katherine Brannan-Williams. The meeting was followed by the traditional Reunion luncheon.
A highlight of the two days was a "walk down memory lane" slideshow that appeared throughout the building. Arranged by the Archives volunteers, the slideshow highlighted this year’s milestone Reunion Classes, including Class 12, whose members were inducted into the Alumnae Associaton during the festivities.
