Alumnae Reunion 2007

Alumnae Reunion 2007

Alumnae from a breadth of class years returned to Chapin on Thursday, April 19, and Friday, April 20, for the annual Alumnae Reunion. On Thursday, they attended classes, took tours of the building, watched a Dance Club performance and learned about the current curriculum at presentations by the science and foreign language departments. The cocktail reception that evening drew a large crowd, many of whom caught up with former classmates and friends.

On Friday, the Alumnae Association Annual Meeting took place. Michelle Palmieri Warren ’57 delivered the 50th Reunion speech, in which she touched on the distinguishing characteristics of Chapin and the world during the 1950s. There were also remarks from President of Self-Government Meredith Carroll ’07, Alumnae Board President Tanya Ryk Broidy ’90, President of the Board of Directors Ella Foshay ’65 and Head of School Patricia Hayot. After the meeting, attendees enjoyed the traditional Alumnae Luncheon in the Gordon Room.
