Chapin alumnae have a long tradition of sharing their professional experiences with one another, and that tradition continues today. On Thursday, January 12, over 40 Chapin alumnae gathered at the offices of JP Morgan to discuss opportunities for women in finance. Kim Karetsky Krinsky ’95 hosted the event.
A panel of alumnae who are finance professionals — Regina Gilgan Andrus ’94, Executive Producer of Mad Money with Jim Cramer, CNBC; Lauren Bonner ’99, Management Associate, Bridgewater; Gale Kroeger ’70, Partner, Exchange Place Partners; and Cornelia Beshar Spring ’74, Managing Director, Private Banking, J.P. Morgan — reflected on which sectors of the finance industry are growing, what it means to be a woman working in finance, and what are some keys to success and longevity in the field. Leslie Ehrlich ’78, co-chair of AlumNet, moderated the discussion.
After the discussion, alumnae stayed to mingle and catch up with one another, as well as with Head of School, Dr. Patricia T. Hayot.
