Excited chatter filled the hall outside of Chapin's Black Box Theater as the audience awaited the premiere of this year's Winter Play.

Our Chapin student-athletes have completed yet another memorable winter season, competing in fencing, squash, indoor track & field, swimming and basketball. 

The third annual WeAreChapin Festival brought the vibrant spirit of The Chapin School community to life under one roof.

A few times each school year, the Middle School (MS) Math Department hosts a “Vertical Celebration”. 

Throughout the month of February, special classroom activities and division-wide Assemblies were held in honor and celebration of Black History Month.

Twice a month, as the Chapin community walks through the front doors of 100 East End Avenue, they are welcomed by the sound of live music. 

Adorned with heart balloons and tablecloths with pink and red hearts, the Hayot Center for Innovation was ready to host the first annual “Friendship Fair” on Friday, February 13.

On January 29, members of the Chapin community gathered in the Assembly Room to listen and learn at our 19th annual Gilder Lehrman Lecture.

When Rachel Salem took the helm as Chapin’s newest Lower School (LS) Music Teacher, she brought with her an infectious enthusiasm and passion for her craft. As she got to know her new students, she was impressed with the joy and curiosity each Lower School grade brought to their music classes. 

This year, Ms. Bellantoni expanded the "Captain Snap" lesson beyond her drama class, transforming it into a larger interdisciplinary project that integrated drama with STEAM and the HCI.
