Xiomara Hall's career in education spans 20 years. Her admissions experience includes all levels from Nursery School to Higher Education. Before becoming Chapin's current Director of Middle & Upper School Admissions in 2016, Xiomara was the Director of Financial Aid at George School, a Quaker boarding and day school in Newtown, PA. She also spent six years in admissions and financial aid at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School in Washington, DC. Prior to her years in D.C., she taught early childhood for nine years at The Episcopal School here in New York City. Originally from Brooklyn, Xiomara is an alumna of the Prep for Prep program, and a graduate of The Lawrenceville School. She received her BA in English Literature from Hobart & William Smith Colleges, and her masters in educational leadership from the Klingenstein Center, Teachers College, Columbia University. Currently, Xiomara is an Upper School advisor and the supervisor for the Student Global Leadership cohort. She also facilitates anti-racism trainings with the Center for Racial Justice in Education.
