Nick DePaola earned his bachelor's degree in physical education at the State University of New York at Cortland and a master of education degree in health education from Lehman College. During his time at Cortland, he was a member of the varsity football and rugby teams. At Chapin, Mr. DePaola teaches Physical Education in all divisions and coaches MS Volleyball and Varsity Badminton. He also currently serves as the Athletic Association of Independent Schools League Badminton Chairperson. Mr. DePaola spends his free time outdoors with his family gardening, hiking and cycling.
