Amber Bryant earned her M.F.A. in creative writing from Southampton College and her B.A. in English, with minors in mass communication and writing, from Middle Tennessee State University. Prior to joining Chapin in 2012, Ms. Bryant worked as a high school librarian and dorm parent at The Ross School, as a copywriter for an independent design company and as a writing instructor at Suffolk County Community College. In addition to her Executive Assistant to the Head of School and Coordinator of Internships roles at Chapin, Ms. Bryant leads a weekly writing workshop and teaches Fiction Writing Workshop in the Upper School. She is also a five-year volunteer for the Inner-City Scholarship Fund's Job Opportunities Program and a member of Chapin's White Antiracist Affinity Group.
