Gerard Chamorin

Gerard Chamorin earned his degree in teaching at the Normal School of Bordeaux, France. He later studied computer programming at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, then went to the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont, where he pursued a Master of Arts degree in foreign language education in both French and Spanish. While in Louisiana, Mr. Chamorin was the computer-assisted language specialist for the Louisiana State Department of Education, where he developed computer software for foreign language teaching. Soon afterward, he was published by a major foreign language software publisher in New York City. In 1987, Mr. Chamorin became a member of the Apple Developer Program, a program created by Apple Computer to support software and hardware developers. He still belongs to this organization. Mr. Chamorin has been at Chapin since 1990 and is currently the Coordinator of Student Information Services.
