Katie Adams is starting her 17th year in math education and is joining us from Hannah Senesh Community Day School in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. She moved to New York in 2007 and earned a master’s degree in Math Education from Brooklyn College. Katie is a dedicated and driven educator who is focused on bringing real-life and current event contexts into math instruction. She is committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that nurtures the social and academic growth of all students. Although born and raised in South Florida, Katie now considers herself a New Yorker. She enjoys spending her weekends exploring any and all green spaces, in and out of the city, where her three young boys can run wild.
