World Languages Field Trips

On a beautiful Tuesday in May, Class 6 embarked on their World Languages Department field trips! Each year, these immersive day trips connect sixth grade students with the corresponding culture and language they are studying (French, Spanish or Chinese) in a variety of settings. 

Kindergarten Chapin Study 2026

Since January, Kindergarten students have been hard at work on their Chapin Study projects. Students have the opportunity to become researchers, historians, storytellers and investigators as they explore the School community. 

Middle School Math Celebrates World Bee Day

All Middle School (MS) Math classrooms were certainly buzzing as the students solved creative math problems to celebrate this year’s World Bee Day the week of May 20. MS Math Department Head and Teacher Katie Adams created age-appropriate bee-themed math problems for each grade to explore.

Field Day 2026

Green and Gold spirit was on full display last week during our annual Field Day festivities. Students, faculty and staff came together for the Middle and Upper School Field Day on Thursday, May 21, and the Lower School Field Day on Friday, May 22. 

Chapin Drama Takes Center Stage

When the lights came up on the set of “Still Life with Iris,” the audience was transported to a whacky, nocturnal world where memories are tied to your jacket and lady bugs only have their spots if the painter can find their supplies.

K-12 Learning Legacy Assembly 2026

Students in K-12 and the Professional Community came together for Chapin’s final All School Assembly of the 2025-2026 school year last week.

Upper School students in our Advanced Art Studio course were making good use of the newly renovated Art Studio, either putting the finishing touches on pieces for their end-of-year showcase or working on a project of their own design.
