Tnyetta Holder Mitchell ’89
Vice president and business support manager, US Trust/Bank of America Private Wealth Management
The Chapin effect: I was always encouraged and empowered to become the leader of a group or team. Whether it was captain of the soccer team, Cog contributor or president of the Dance Club, these roles seemed attainable and expected. I knew that my voice would be heard, felt comfortable taking on responsibility and, perhaps most importantly, always felt supported in a leadership role.
Three characteristics of a leader: Displays personal courage, inspires commitment and “followership,” delivers results.
