Samantha Sherman | profile
Samantha Sherman graduated from Chapin in 2005 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Dance and English at Wesleyan University. She studied modern dance and composition with Pedro Alejandro, and pilates at Kinected Pilates Center. Ms. Sherman continues to teach and perform with Pedro Alejandro Dance and Dancers in venues across the country, as well as Brooklyn-based company TYKEdance. She teaches dance and physical education in the Lower and Upper Schools and coaches Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Gymnastics. Ms. Sherman joined the Chapin faculty in 2009.
Jacek Ratajczak | profile
Jacek Ratajczak received a division 1 volleyball scholarship to California State University Northridge and graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While there, he was a two-time All-American volleyball player. After college, Mr. Ratajczak played professional volleyball in Germany, France, Belgium and Poland. He was a member of the U.S. Men’s National Team from 2013 to 2014 and competed at the 2013 Pan Am Cup in Mexico.Prior to Chapin, Mr. Ratajczak was an assistant men’s volleyball coach at Baruch College and he has coached clinics at various clubs around New York City. He is currently Chapin’s assistant varsity volleyball coach and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
