Michael Bermudez grew up in a competitive soccer environment in New York City. He played competitively as a goalkeeper Mr. Bermudez has been coaching soccer for 12 years and currently holds his NSCAA Advanced diploma and a USSF C license. He is the head coach for Chapin’s varsity soccer team and brings a wealth of passion and knowledge to the program.
Jeanne Allegra | profile
Jeanne L. Allegra is the Head of the LS and MS Physical Education Department. She is a graduate of Denison University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in physical education with a minor in psychology. During her time at Denison, she was a three-season varsity athlete, competing all four years in soccer and both indoor and outdoor track. She teaches Lower and Middle School physical education and coaches cross county, soccer, and track and field. Ms. Allegra enjoys all active outdoor activities, especially soccer and distance running. She has four children and resides in Bergen County, NJ.
Eric Kipoliongo | profile
Eric Kipoliongo was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and moved to the United States when he was eight years old. He played collegiate soccer at Herkimer College on the 2013 National Championship Team and has devoted the past seven years to developing and coaching youth soccer players. He is the assistant varsity soccer coach at Chapin.
When he isn’t coaching, Mr. Kipoliongo is a paraprofessional at P.S. 158, the Bayard Taylor School. He is dedicated to passing on his knowledge to the up and coming students of the game of soccer.
