Curriculum

Through the Lower School curriculum, girls begin to explore the world around them. They acquire excellent reading and writing skills, encounter the basic concepts of science and math, begin to study Spanish, and express themselves creatively through art, dance, drama and music. Every student is encouraged to become a life-long learner and leaves the Lower School well-prepared for the increasing challenges of Chapin’s Middle School.
