In Classes 2 and 3, the drama program focuses on creative exploration and storytelling. Girls create original works in dance, music and drama that are connected to their social studies or language arts curricula.

Middle School drama begins with an interdisciplinary collaboration with dance, bringing movement and text together in Class 4. In Classes 5 and 6, the program builds skills in playwriting, text analysis, creative exploration and group work. In Class 7, a fully integrated performing arts curriculum prepares girls for advanced Upper School courses in the arts. In order to balance performance opportunities with workshops and classes, a variety of extracurricular opportunities exist for girls with different levels of experience at every grade level.
