Upper School (8-12)
Young women emerge from the Chapin Upper School as well-rounded, highly educated students who are more than ready to handle any challenge they may meet in college and beyond. They have experienced a college-preparatory curriculum that has exposed them to a wide range of academic disciplines and encouraged them to explore more deeply their own interests. They are curious, capable, and innovative thinkers who masterfully express their own ideas.
In the Upper School, students make many academic decisions. They choose elective courses, pursue individual study projects, and take classes outside of Chapin and around the globe. They define themselves as leaders within the school community and participate actively in all aspects of life at Chapin.
